About Michelle:

Michelle Townsend has always enjoyed the outdoors, hiking, camping, boating and wildlife. When Covid created the ability to work remotely she found places to park her 5th wheel and started living the life she’d dreamed of. Her summers were spent in the following areas: 2020 Stone Lake, WI, 2021 Crain Lake, MN and 2022 & 2023 Babbitt, MN. In 2022 she also spent a few months in Vernonia, OR. During these summers with camera in hand, she explored the areas and worked on her photography resulting in 2 covers and multiple shots published in the Ely Visitors guide. December 2023, she moved to Babbitt, MN to be closer to the woods she fell in love with.

Her blogs are letters to her granddaughter MJ (born Oct 2023) who lives in CA with her parents on a naval base. While trying to come up with creative ways to bond with MJ over the long distance the blog was created. All letters are read to MJ via video chat before sharing with you.
